We’ve been informed by our Track & Field News Crew that the 3:38.40 run by Eleanor Roosevelt of Maryland is the fastest HS Girls 4×400 in Eastern US track history.
We’ve had seven teams run 3:40 or faster, which is unprecedented for this event (perhaps related to the gorgeous high 70′s and sunshine weather). For those in the area, I would strongly urge you to consider coming down to friendly Franklin Field tomorrow for the final section of this event.
Our final heat, as tradition dictates, is the Philadelphia Public League 4×400. Health and Human Services H.S. won in 3:55.99
