Connecticut wins the opening heat in 1:35.22.
G.C. Foster of Jamaica wins the second race in 1:32.02, with LSU (seeking its 12th Penn title in this event) second at 1:32.56.
Heat 3 is won by Texas A&M in 1:30.96 — the third fastest ever at Penn.
Heat 4 goes to Mississippi State (1:35.77).
Tennessee wins big in Heat 5, clocking 1:34.19.
Virginia takes Heat 6 in 1:36.41.

The Penn Relays are the largest annual track and field meet in the United States and the largest annual relay meet in the world. Over the course of three days, 19,000 athletes from all levels will race in front of 115,000 spectators. The 2010 Penn Relays will be from April 22-24.
