Charles Clark anchors Florida State to a win in Heat 2

OK, the boys have stepped aside, and the Masters did their thing. Now it’s time for the college men to take the track.

Four-time defending champ LSU wins the first heat in 39.93.

Florida State takes heat 2 in 40.10.

Heat 3 goes to Florida in 40.65. Jeff Demps seemed to struggle with some sort of an injury in the final 50. Gators aren’t going to qualify for the final.

Heat 4 is all about Clemson: 39.73.

Heat 5 is won by Texas A&M in 39.90.

Heat 6: University of Technology hits the line in 40.07.
